Ortega Elementary Superstar Choir is a group of (currently) 45 hardworking 2nd – 5th grade students who rehearse weekly under the direction of Ortega’s rockin’ music teacher; Rick Wood, Director. Since the Fall of 2005, the Superstar Choir has been performing their brand of African-American spirituals for audiences not only at Ortega Elementary, but also all around Austin.
